Call of Duty: Black Ops is a fps game launched on November the 9th 2010. Black is available for PC, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360 and nintendo DS.
Processor
To be able to even start Black Ops you will need a Intel Core2 Duo E6600 (£168.98) or AMD Phenom X3 8750($195) processor which is the highest processors ever
seen for minimum system requirements. As we can see from this screen
shot Treyarch added a lot of high quality effects in Call of Duty Black
Ops (smoke, sparks, explosions, shattered glass); and the game needs
quite an processing power to display the effects at the correct position
with absolutely no delay.
Memory
You will be needing 2 GB of memory (RAM) which is a common value for 2010 games with high-end graphics.
Video Card
Call of Duty moved a step ahead and added to it's minimum requirements
list the Shader 3.0, which means that if you have an older graphics card
than the 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT or ATI Radeon X1950Pro you won't
be playing Black Ops, even if you could have played Modern Warfare 2!
As a Conclusion i can tell that Call of Duty: Black Ops is the game
with highest, minimum requirements ever in the history of gaming. If you
don't believe me, just check out the requirements bellow from other
games and convince yourself!
I have downloaded and elatsnlid Train Simulator 2012 twice now with the same results.Th game installs just fine and when I click the icon it does show the opening window, but when I click on the button to start Train Simulator 2012 the window flickers but does not launch the game. I have all updated drivers and all needed programs IE: .net 4 and Physx and direct x .. system 3 gig ram and 2.6 Ghz X 2 cpu.Any idea why the game is not launching?
I think the game is badly coded, I'm running it on a Core i7 860 @ 3.2 Ghz, a GTX 285, and it seems that my GPU is getting utilized until 50% and sometimes this results in slight framedrops in some maps!
Is my cpu bottlenecking on me fo' real? I have the steam version so I'm playing legit.
